Good guide but I find the easiest way to debadge is to pour boiling water over the badges to melt the glue and then with a flat head screw driver with some electrical tape over the tip to avoid scratching the paint work, gently prise the badges away! Literally takes 30 seconds to do both badges and all the lettering!

There are plenty of methods to doing this, all of them need care and patience to ensure paintwork is not damaged. :)

I used Autoglym Intensive Tar Remover (blue label on bottle) to remove the 'gunk'.

Practically wipes off!

I used the adhesive tape that came with the badges :)

Its 3M automotive tape apparently.
I've had no issues or problems in 5k miles.

Aye, the tape is already attached to the badges.
Were did you source yours?

All the ones I've seen have been genuine KDM/Mobis.
The market is probably too small to justify pattern ones.

Same place I got mine from.
WooWon11 is of the best e-bay traders I've come across so far. (and cheapest)
My last order from him took 11 days from click of mouse to ring of door-bell.

Nice tip with the cable tie. Never thought of that but I'll be trying it for sure. Just ordered some Batman badges for my black Coupe.
