Carbon Fibre Material Now Available For DIY

Postby LiDL » Wed Oct 27, 2010 12:02 am

I've given it some thought and this will be easy enough for someone to do their own bonnet, roof, or interior parts so I'm now selling Hexis Carbon Fibre Material for your own projects.

They're seriously good prices.
I wrapped my fuel cap ring, side vents and the end plates on my spoiler a few weeks ago. I used di-noc and if the stuff you're selling is easier to use then I highly recommend people to jump on this

I prefer it to the Di-noc, it's got a tighter weave and has a satin effect rather than the harsh mat of the di-noc.

This is easier to work with than 3m too as it's made for wrapping cars unlike the thick 3m stuff.

It looks a lot more realistic than what I used.

When I have a few quid to spare I'll get some off ya. I want to wrap a few interior bits

Im thinking of doing some stuff for my motorbike in cf, i was wondering how it is on none flat objects more rounded and obscure. Would it be a easy job or would it crease like a bitch.

it obviously has it's limits but this stuff is pretty good, if your curve is one way it's a lot easier than if it's wavy but most things are possible with time patience and heat.

How much material would you say id need for the side vents, center console, and maybe wing mirrors?

Also has anyone wrapped their headlight surround?
