Gen 2 Seats interchangeable ?

Postby Panther » Tue Feb 14, 2012 1:38 pm

My Gen 2 has the two tone (grey/black) leather and the drivers seat is showing the usual wear on the side, if I got hold of a passenger seat can the frames be swapped over etc. ?

How difficult is it to put Gen 3 seats into a gen 2 ?

I believe Gen 3 Seats are to wide to fit properley in a Gen 1/2.

If you bought another Gen 2 Seat, why would you need to swap the frames?

I was thinking of getting a passenger seat to replace the drivers as they usually have less wear on them, just wondered if you could swap the frames over (isn't the seat belt point part of the seat/frame ?)

Passenger seat may end up fitting but dont forget that the recliner and the belt will be at the wrong side....
