woke up this morning, normal day. go out at about 1:30, notice my car has been S**t on by birds. bout 3 splodges on the bonnet. so get in, turn to get the belt on and notice a big white streak down my window aswell, think nothing of it. driving for a bit and suddenly realise what those splodges are. pull over and look at the car in detail. all over my drivers side is covered in egg. the bonnet has 3 splodges, one big streak down my windo (the afore mentioned white one. had turned white due to it being the egg white i assume!) then 2 on my door, 3 on rear of car and one on windscreen. i was absolutely fuming. i dont live in the best of areas but i have never experienced that before.
I've only had the car 10 days, parked outside on the road, but its not a busy road, its just off a fairly busy road and right near a field with football pitches on. but some little tit has done it, must of been done first thing this morning i assume cos it was still runny in parts and my dad had gone to work at * not noticing anything so it must of been just after that. in a way im glad i never seen them do it as god know what i would of done to them. there was one shell on the road so they either disposed of the rest or they just cracked the one (a'la ramsey) and spread it about!
i was gutted, and on top of that, i had to park up in tesco car park with a car covered in egg for an hour.
I eventually went to a Jet carwash and paid to use their pressure washer with shampoo. i also had to use my ice scraper to scrape some of the hardened parts off! needed a wash anyway really but that's not the point.
Has anyone else suffered this in the past? i know a few people who have had egg's thrown at property or themselves when walking about (making my area sound like a top place here! ahah) it was first thing this morning but im still really angry and now slightly paranoid about it being out there!
End of the day, there's nout much i can do about it unless i catch them. just pains me to think theres people about who have such little respect for other people's property! When i was a kid, i would never of dreamed of doing anything like it, I'd of been terrified of the consequences of either the person catching me or my parents finding out!
Kids these days ey?
