From what I've heard, garage doesn't help that much, as if the thief/burger gets into the garage, they'll be pretty undisturbed whilst they steal your car. Not sure how true though.

Yeah that makes sense however we have whats called a megablaster - something like the loudest alarm that it hurts your ears so much you cant stand near it. though theres also ear muffs in the garagelol
