Hi all,

I own a hyundai coupe 1.6 coupe s and am unable to find the oil filter after having looked several times.

does anyone have any suggestions as I am looking to change my oil soon and will have to change the filter as I have no record of when it was last done due to recently purchasing the car

go to newtonnet.com and look at the manuals - will tell you everything you need to know

thats the 2.0L though mnemonic. maybe the same place for the 1.6 but wasnt sure. it probably is there tho as it is quite hard to see if you dont know where it is on the 2L.

Yes it is the 2.0, the 1.6 is not listed seperately within the Newtonnet manuals - I'dve thought it would be the same location as the 2.0 in that case.

Its a 1.6 gen2, it may be same block as 2.0, it may not. if your 1.6 look nothing like the 2.0 in the pic, then look up Newtonnets Gen3 manual, as your 1.6 engine will be same as Gen3 1.6.
