This is a great thread. I get annoyed when anyone talking mpg gets slammed with "if you're worried about mpg, you shouldn't buy a coupe". I don't expect superb fuel economy - I knew what it was likely to achieve when I bought it - but I do want to know that it's basically doing OK and not guzzling vastly more gas than it should! Manufacturer figures aren't much use but the experience of other owners gives a useful comparison.
As for nitrogen in tyres, another (claimed) benefit is prevention of wheel corrosion under the tyre, since the nitrogen is dry and inert.
Oh, and petrolprices.com is worth signing up to if you want regular (even daily) emails detailing the cheapest petrol prices in your area. Apologies if that's already been suggested...

. I don't tend to thrash it but still have some fun with it. No mods; Michelin Primacy HP tyres. Average should be going up a bit as I've changed from a 5-mile journey to work that took 15 minutes to a 10-mile journey that takes 20 minutes.
