Recently got my Gen3 2.0 came with years MOT with advisory of small leak at manifold front, Now today my engine check light has came on and after checking the "SEARCH BOX" it seems this could be my fault? has anyone else had similar problems they could advise were to get replacement cheaply or any after market ones thats stainless etc

Cracked. Don't buy secondhand, try and weld or any of that. New one, SS prob cheapest

Ahh I just got offered one in vgc of a 2005 accident damaged gen3 manifold + cat for £50 so thinking it'll do just now as intend doing stainless through on it.

I got a Second hand one off eBay when mine cracked, agreed with buyer if it failed emission check once I got it on he was having it back. They are £ hundreds new. 18 months later still going strong!

manifold cheap, but by the time you buy a cat, and get it welded in, cost will build up.

Mine could not get welded due to where the crack was!

Seem OK but you will need to take into account the chance of getting hammered at customs for import/VAT.

Not sure about CAT legality either if they are annotated with this...

little flap next to your right knee, pull it open from the bottom to expose all of the fuses. Bottom center of there.

I bought one of those fault finders for the laptop. Keeps saying my serial port is not open. No idea what that means but it makes me look like a race car driver....

got my scanner today works a treat, fault code p0133 registered according to my booklet its 02 sensor CKT Slow response (bank 1 sensor 1) anyone? :Dits running well maybe using more fuel than normal tho

It means the front lambda sensor has detected a problem with the exhaust system/gases coming out. Interpreting that with what you already been told, I'd say thats its telling you that you have a cracked manifold :D .
