Have I been really stupid?

Postby Gran1te » Sun Feb 19, 2012 3:35 pm

Have taken off inlet manafold to get to rear bank of plugs but now engine warning light is on and wont turn over!!!
Only sensor I disconnected was the one on the arse end of the manifold (under the trottle linkage) so that I could remove the manifold. Any ideas? I didn't connect the battery, would this be why? How can I get over it?

Have you tried an ECU reset, ie disconnect the battery and pump the brakes a few times. That can sometimes reset everything.

Disconnected negative, pumped brake, reconnected battery terminal, no change...... stuck! The sensor I removed, the intake air temperature sensor has been reconnected. still no joy. What am I doing wrong?
