hi there i have a gen 1 coupe which the central locking was not working when i bought it off a friend, but they have reasured me that it did work before i bought the car but stopped working whilst it was off the road for a few weeks, i have checked the fuse and it is ok , so could anyone shed some light on what it may be i.e a relay or maybe a faulty connection. i would be greatful for any help recieved. thanks

Hyundai central locking is notorious its a widely covered subject ask your friend was there anything like the locks flicking or funny noises before it stopped

hi again. i asked my friend regarding the central locking and they said there was noise coming from the car prior to it packing up. you say this is a common problem, if it is the same problem what is it and how is it put right?

could the ACTUATOR have packed up on both doors at the same time or does the central locking not work if just one packs up. i use the key in either door and the central locking doesn't work .

Not usually both but the drivers one controls both on gen1 so change that first
