One relay controls both indicators if I remember right? As for which one I'm not too sure, check the diy section on here under electrical section as am sure I have seen a diy for it somewhere.

Only one is related to indicators, the others do other stuff. Don't know which is which though, but it's definitely on here somewhere

THE VERDICT

OK first off a big thank you to all the quick replys and a mssive thanks to jrp210 that is exactly what i needed.
a special mention is required i think for (joff), these forums are meant to be here for us to help each other out never would i read something and just post "wrong" maby id say "hey your doing it wrong ........here is how to get it right. .....

downside - i changed the wrong relay

upside - the car still purrs like a gud un and i am now confident in changing the right relay thanks to everyone who gave good advice. you guys are the reason forums work.

WARNING

I am by no means a full on mechanic but am very competent. this is not a job for the faint harted. when i do get the new relay i will be taking it to the local computer shop for them to do the actual relay swap as they are a bugger to get off and worse to try and get back on.

once again thanks for all the advice you guys are diamonds.

Happened to me recently, found the walk thru, ordered the relay and got my son to do the job. Well he fixes computers so it was easier for him, cost me a new soldering iron (cheap at the price) :)

Done the right relay now plus the last one too. All problems sorted, just the door actuator to do tomorrow.

Thanks all
